You should look into how much voltage the AEM puts out for a given ratio and sync it that way. For example, my timing retard map on the emanage goes by RPM / Boost sensor voltage from the e-01. The sensor put's out .1vdc per 1 psi. 15 psia (~ atmospheric) is 1.5vdc, Five pounds of boost is 20.5 psia so the voltage is 2.05. The AEM unit should work in a similar way. Maybe 0vdc is 10:1 afr and 5vdc is 20:1 afr. Call AEM they should be able to explain the output. Let me know how it works out as well, I have been planing on doing the same thing.

All widebands are 0-1 v or 0-5 v. Just ask AEM which it is and use the output to connect to the corresponding input wire on the optional harness.

ive had it hooked up but you have to tell the eo1 how to translate the voltage. the aem is set to 0-5v default. on the e01 you have to tell it what a/f to read at the specified voltage. which would be 11:1-18:1 if the aem forums are correct.

Yeah, put in 0 vdc = 11 and 5 vdc = 18. Then take it for a run and see if the output of the wideband display is the same as what the e-01 is thinking it is.

This is sweet...so if you get it working, I assume you can do full boost, RPM, and AF datalogging?? Sweet!

Too bad the graph on the e-01 is so hard to read. I wonder if greddy has any way of exporting the data to a PC to review.

I know I talk about this wideband a lot, but the Techedge Wideband O2 can log A/F, RPM, 3 user inputs and 3 egt inputs. User inputs can be any sensor 0-5V. For example A/F, RPM, boost, Throttle position, intake charge temp. I'm waiting on my senders and that's exactly what I'll be logging in a week or so. They're all exportable to a PC.

Don't mean that as a downer on your AEM because the AEM display is much nicer. Just info for those who are looking to log data to a PC.

Well if that's what you want get this one. http://www.zeitronix.com I even logs EGT's which I have not seen on any other unit. This one is the least expensive I have ever seen as well. I am going to buy just the sensor and controller ($220) and use my profec e-01 to display the afr.

When you get working, can you post a step-by-step?? I have the AEM and e-01 just waiting for install. I'll order the sensor harness.

its simple when you get the harness you wont be able to ready the instuctions at all there forighn lol. ok neways the white wire in the harness you are ordering will go to the white wire on the aem unit. simple thats it. now when you go to set the analog input in the e01 you set up using chanel one (white wire) you set the voltage to 0-5v and you set the conversion to 11:1-18:1 then you set the warning to whatever you want if you even want the warning feature. thats basicly it you jus set up the guage display to show channel one of the analog input. i found alot of info about the e-01 and all the optional harness including pictures and translations to the wire colors on this page: http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/#Ma...0Installation:

http://www.savepic.com/is.php?i=4449...conversion.jpg

I scanned this in from my instruction manual.

Here is the table of voltage conversions for the AEM wideband. As you can see, it's different from what was posted earlier. The range is 9.72 to 19.56

So is it working? If so, can you post a screen shot of your RPM/Boost/AF table on the Profec?

I installed my AEM A/F today and I noticed that as my RPM increases at WOT, it very quickly goes from 13.0 down to 11.0 and then ends up flashing those dashes. This happens at like 3500rpm. Does the AEM only read to 11.0?? I figured it would at least goto 10.0 before pooping out.

Either way, I running MUCH richer than my tailpipe dyno measurement indicated. It showed me gradually maxing out at 11.4
