Great news indeed....I KNEW there was something wrong with that stock Vortech program in your SS box. I bet you have a big smile on your face.

okay.. maybe i am unclear (oftentimes i admit)

where i live (about 10 ft above MSL to 30 ft MAX) the CF becomes a negative value, or, a number LESS than 1.00...

i am just trying to get a realworld evaluation of you setup (not trying to disagree at all, but rather have values that are somewhat relative to other s/c owners posting here)

anyway, i am totally stoked by the new values (im sure you are as well!!); it shows a much more accurate factor of the system..

Tig in your sig it says you have an 03 coupe. When i phoned vortech for avaliability on the kit for my 03 they said they have not put it out yet. Apparently they need to dyno test in house on an 03 before they release it for the public. Basically im wondering how you got one.

hmm, actually my coupe is an 03.5, but that shouldnt matter, dont ask me, i called superchargers online, told them i had a G35 coupe, they never asked what year it was, maybe the kit i have is for an 04 coupe, who knows, all i can say is I love it. obviously they do have a it for the coupe because on the instructions i have with the kit it says Nissan350z/G35 2003-2004 model.

Great numbers!!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't it be more ideal to stay in the 12's? Just a thought.

i have just found a tuner in the Tampa area that is very familiar with the r4/split second software system....

this is a key part of my planned g35SC project.... looks like its full (safe) steam ahead!!

i will post up the details of the shop here (and in my own post soon)

gald to hear you are getting very well sorted...

btw, what is the ideal a/f number for the g35 coupe running the vortech standard-issue pulley??? (i am wondering if its a static number , or, if it varies per rpm range)...maybe vortech has numbers with the kit?

The SS Box does come with the Vortech Package, the software to tune the SS Box must be purchased directly from Split Second for $19.99....

So for twenty bucks and a lap top you could program you're own ss box (still needing a dyno) correct?

You can't beat that with a stick.

I'll spend the $20 just to play around with it and have the ability to view peoples' maps and see what tuning they're doing.

Thanks.

plus if anything goes wrong you can just put the baseline back in and be safe till you can figure it out.
