On my car my belt problems were due to misalignment and a warped pulley that had walked out and caused misalignment.

ATI gave me all my belts at cost and the pulleys too. I probably have more pulleys for my ATI Kit than anyone here and they all have been off at one time or another.

Since getting my belts aligned correctly (2 or more months ago??) I have not had any further belt problems. I do not think it is an issue of power but more of an alignment thing.

As for "dust" it's an engine man a race engine at that. I don't plan on eating off the thing. You want to talk about dust lets talk about brakes and my rims

Congratulations; those are absolutely great numbers. If you don’t mind me asking, what RPM did you launch at and tire pressure.

Happy with my ATI procharger, been functioning without issues.

With the Vortech the belt comes really close [1/8 of an inch ] away from a bolt and seems even closer on the blower it self .After about 500 miles and 11 dyno runs I did notice it sarted to squeel at start up and the belt started to hit that bolt . No Dust at all from it

Yes ....I just tightened up the belt till I could just barely turn it side ways..like some one suggested . It is slightly tighter than after install now .Thats what makes me think I may have been slipping a little at the dyno the other day .

There were 2 people that had issues with ATI belts. One person had taken a bolt out of the bracket (that needed to remain for balance) and the other had a warped pulley. Both issues were caused by outside circumastances and were not due to ATI's design or setup.
Actually the one guy that had the problem due to the bolt on the bracket being removed, recieved his info directly from ATI and was told that "that bracket is useless and will be eliminated on future kits"...
