Where are you guys getting these prices from ($10K for the PE kit installed).

The kit can be had for $6800 (if not a little less) and about $1200 install (15-17 hours). If you purchase the kit out of state (like IM racing which quoted me the price) you will NOT be charged tax (assuming you are not in AZ). Assuming about 120 for shipping (tops), and around $300 for a boost controller you are around $8420 installed wth all the accesories that you will need.

Sorry, forgot the optional $500 TS reflash. If you ask me, the two kits are pretty comparable.

You should come down to the spring nationals this weekend at raceway and watch me break something with my new clutch!

yeah right, only if you wanna go beyond 1.2 bar. Each of the PE1820 turbos ca produce 400+ hp, but I'd say 650-700 rwhp would enough for me. I would be more worried about the torque curve, I am yet to see one for the PE TTs.

PE > Greddy QUALITY...

ball bearing turbos will spool up much quicker than non ball bearing.

Gurgen, don't worry about the torque curve there's PENTY of torque throughout the band. I'll have some dyno numbers for you within the week.

those greddy turboes may push more air, but i bet those pes will make more power about 300 rpms sooner.

does pe warranty the turbo headers on there car in case it cracks?

Arghhh, Lotus I too am in limbo.

I was all set to go GReddy but pushed it back a little bit to grab a better sound system. Now I am sitting here scratching my head trying to decide which way to go. BB Turbos sound rather promising.. then of course when I decide on which for these two the JWT will be out won't it... DAH!

I agree with you 1000% on quality. The reason that PE makes more power than greddy (5-7%) at the same boost setting is the beautifully ported manifolds and a very efficient IC.

I can't wait for the dyno plot.

Also keep in mind that you have full boost by 2600-2800 rpm with the PE kit, which is DEFINTIELY not the case with Greddy.

I have got one of the 5 kits that are coming in. My kit is somewere east of the Hawaiian islands now, can't wait! It will hopefully be done by veGas Invasion time (may 21-23). Are you gonna go to that?
