Default Greddy TT - Quick opinion so far.

Oh boy, I'm in love with my car, heheh.

I'm almost 100% sure it's leaking air right now, because there's an abnormal fuzzy noise everytime I accelerate... it has happened before and the shop was supposed to have that fixed, but apparently they didn't do a great job.

Anyway, even with the leak, which we estimated to be putting no more than 4psi or so into the engine at max boost, I had the greatest time givin all my friends test-drives..

During a drive here on Rt17 I saw about 4-5 lowered Civics/Integras/Focuses with the "magic exhausts" all having a group-drive somewhere to NY... so I couldn't help but f*ck with them Let's just say that after 3-4 of them tried racing me, they decided it wasn't the brightest idea.

Can't wait to get everything fixed up, and turn up the boost >_<

Hoo hah!

Never mind just read you other post and you said it's the exhaust side.

I'd take it easy if you have a boost leak, you could overspeed the turbo and cause damage to it. the wastegate is never fully opening because it's not seeing the full boost so it just spins faster. I doubt a day or two is going to kill it but after any prolonged period it could damage the compressor wheel (mushroom effect) or the rest of it. For what these cost I wouldn't risk it. Glad your enjoying it, I was smiling for the whole first ride

A common exhuast leak spot is the wastgates and the little taper gaskets where it attaches. It is soooo tight in there, that a lot of mechanics just give up.

Slay2k Nevery mind what those other guys said. We know we dont need twin turbos to blow away a bunch of retarded hondas running maxwell house mufflers and magic horsepower giving chineese racing stickers.

Its the fact that blowing these morons away is just so damn fun i personally cant resist myself Especially because these clowns are the ones always revving their 100 hp 4 bangers at you trying to start the race in the first plce.

Putting these fools in their places is just about the most fun you can have without mind altering drugs!!!!

Props to you on the TT setup cant wait for mine!!!hope you get if running right and of course boosting 8-9lbs!!!!

OMG that's just wrong... ahah.

Even if my dad (Z32) or I barely race, we get bad looks from some kids with their Hondas.

We wash our car, for example, and someone pulls up revving or peeling out.

My dad told me today about walking into a video store and saw a couple kids "mugging" him. He said one of them got in his Civic and started showing off with his exhaust sound.

It's soo funny... :-P
