yes after I have put 2,000 miles on it..........Comptech is going to tune it slightly leaner, then drive it 2,000 more miles then tune it to optimal 11.6:1

congratulations..

but I have to say.. there is no way a 340 RWHP 350Z will beat a well-driven C5. I love my 350Z, but you have to be realistic.

Can you describe these kills in more detail? Where that stoplight challenges, or free racing, or rolling races......

I beat my buddies M3 SMG from a 1st gearing rolling start at 15mph to 70mph. He said I pulled like crazy on him in 2nd gear! The M3 is rated at 0-60 in 4.9sec, so I feel pretty good about beating him to 60mph. Also raced a stockish looking Evo from about 50mph to 90mph and pulled on him slightly. That car is fast!

hmm, i pulled an evo from a roll about 40 mph - 100, had about 3/4 to one carlength on him...and i'm just a lil bit above stock(borla td exhaust)...stock evo's really aren't that fast from a roll....

and you have 350whp?? you should have owned that "stockish evo"....Hrmmm

He should have no problems with a stock C5 in a straight line.

well I beat a C5 with just my 55 shot of nitrous........C5's are 13.2-5 in the qrt at 106-7mph, it was close with my blower but i pulled out about 1.5 cars on the c5........the M3 was at sacramento raceway and I smoked him by 4 cars...........my car is fairly fast for a untuned vortech 350Z trapping near 110mph in the qrt. mile

Like I said...stockish looking...but who really knows?? All I saw was an exhuast, but he certainly could have had more. And that was me runnning 5psi....360whp.

Also, people dont seem to realize that once you are rolling about 60mph or so....the HP advantage really shrinks. It takes significantly more HP to pull away from a car. People arent just going to steam-roll an EVO or STI from a roll....it will be a gradually pull away.

Didn't you guys know that C5's are unbeatable? or any LS1 equipped car for that matter.

You could strap a JATO rocket to your car and still lose.

Nice kills. I command thee to get a videocam so that we may enjoy these kills with you. It's not nice to have all this fun and not share!!

That may be true. From my experience, I have steam-rolled stock STIs from 80 and up. Like 80 - 120ish at least 7-8 cars and pulling away hard, I even let him hit it first. He still had dealer plates on, what a way to break-in your car.

Guess it all depends on each other's definition of "steam-roll."

My guess is that the Evo you raced was modded.

Good job...Fluid...Guy I work with wanted to race..He has a 67 camaro...327..built mildly...set up for the strip...He almost lifted the front tires off the ground and got a 1/2 car on me..but I stayed with him...if we would have went any further than 80 mph I think I would have sarted to pull on him...He would have run out of gear the faster we would have gone
