Default Welcome!

Sharif,

You'll probably love it around here. Certainly it is no L.A., but change always does people good. Much more laid back lifestyle and attitudes. You'll need to get used to the accent though

I'm in Raleigh (like Zimbo) and up here I am only 62 miles from Virginia International Raceway (VIR) - about 3 hours from Charlotte. You probably know this as a stop on the AMA Superbike calendar. It is one of the best road racing facilities in this country. You are also not too far (about 5 hours) from Barber Motorsports Park (Birmingham, AL), considered THE best race track in the country (Porsche NA moved their school from Road Atlanta to Barber for this reason).

You'll have to meet up with us, and leave that slow-a$$ car in the garage. Bring the Duc and we'll have us a proper Italian Superbike Match (vs. my modded Aprilia Mille R). I do 15-20 track days a year there. Well, they also have lots of car days, but why would you want to do that?

Oh yeah - I went to college in Atlanta (Emory) and the women are HOT! Atlanta is AWESOME, for when you want to party. I would say it actually rivals L.A. in some respects (especially in traffic).

Have fun moving and see you when you get here!

Hey you're gonna luv it here...Like someone said before, if your salary stays the same you'll be livin' like a PIMP here. You need to check out the Ballantyne area...real nice close to I-485 (which circles the city) ...well almost. ATL isn't far about 4 hours. Richmond, VA about 4.5. Beaches all within 3-4 hours (I'd recomend Wrightsville-that's where I grew up!) Ladies here...HOT!!! Get with me when U get here I'll show you some spots. All the smog and car questions were answered already.

There are several Tracks here Drag Strip. And some others nearby. Andy can take you to Constentino's. I know a few shop owners here too. I don't know if you're into Drifting at all but theres a big event coming in August. And you haven't lived until you've attended the NOPI SuperShow. Go to www.nopinationals.com for more info.

If you have any other questions you can PM me.

ZLuva...you the man! Thanks for the tips. I am planning on looking in Ballantyne since my sister mentioned that spot. Is it considered a trendy up and coming area? Or is it more for old people with familys. I have no kids and I am 29....and a shaved head...so I dont wanna frighten the natives.

I do want 4 bedrooms and a 2 or preferably 3 car garage. 3000sqft would be nice.

It'z a mix of both...lot of rich families started moving out there so you know it's nice. Now there are alot of upper middle class families there too. It's a great place...I think the natives will be okay. LOL. On Friday and Saturday nites at the Regal Movie theatre there's always alot of people there with nice cars. Give me a call if you need more info. 704.674.6630.

Hey GQ, welcome to the south...its great to have y'all here.

If you want to go out driving sometime (After you have settled down), let me know. I'll swing up from Atlanta for an afternoon drive. I really want to check out your car and ask you some questions.

Hey GQ...I don't know exactly what kind of house you are looking for, but like I said I was looking in the area that I told you about. If you go to www.realtor.com and put in zip code 28277 and your price range they'll have alot of choices for you. here is one in particular that might fit your needs put in MLS#432307. If you need a realtor let me know I have a friend that specializes in that area. He works for one of our clients Allen Tate Realtors.

Well, anything else you need to know that your sister can't answer. Holla atcha boi. I know this city like the back of my hand. or you can hit me at livinlegend92@yahoo.com. Peace.
