Will 06 have supercharger or turbo version

i would say neither due to the GT-R and a desire to keep it in the price range its in now
there is some good discussion on this in the GT-R section but if i had to say one or the other i would go with turbo since the technology is in the works for the GT-R

I don't think so... just as MC350Z said, Nissan wants to keep the price down, and if they turbo/supercharge the Z and giving it 350~400hp, it's gonna hurt the GT-R's sales for sure

yeah remember in 96 they were selling the 300zx turbo in the mid to almost high 40k's this almost single handedly killed the Z.
they learned their lesson thats why i believe the Z has such a wide range or pricing i mean as we all know you can go any where from what i consider to be a entry level mid 20k's to almost 40k. i have mixed feelings about this strategy but i cannot argue that its not good for sales. there is a lot of speculation on GT-R pricing but most people on here are thinking mid 50k+ (cause of the infiniti name) if you have a turbo Z in the forties it kinda over saturates their own market. but im biased because if im breathing im gettin a GT-R if this wasnt the case i would be on the FI Z bandwagon too.
on the other hand i wouldnt rule out a nismo turbo in a few years when the production one for the VQ is finalized!
to keep the thread intresting.....how bout the Xterra S/C????
