Any FI guys running on road courses?
The FI bug is buzzing in my ear. My primary concern with pulling the trigger is heat and associated issues while running on a road course. Typical drivers ed sessions last 20-30 minutes...full blast during that time. Obviously, there are a lot of heat issues to deal with. I was wondering if anyone has been running their FI Z on the road course for extended periods of time. What are you doing to address the heat issues, and have you run into any problems? Thanks!
I know that Eagle1 has the ATI SC and has done at several track days...Willows Springs and Laguna Seca. He had no problems.
With F/I...I would recommend an oil cooler/upgraded oil pan, and an upgraded radiator. Especially since Willow Springs is usually in the 100degree plus temperature range.

I'm planning on it, when I go TT. I'm planning to install an oil cooler, a larger oil pan, an upgraded radiator, and a large power steering cooler.
Basically, I'm following what the Supra guys do, since we will have the same basic issues -- similar power levels, similar cooling issues.
