Talking Congrats!!!

Let me be the first to congratulate you.

You picked an awesome kit, and you're going to love your car after it's done, even more so than now.

I'm happy for you, man. =)

Now let's see if you can top my ETs, hehehe...

Slay, thanks a lot man!

Well - i hope i can be around that time (12.7) at the low boost setting (just like yours - I presume). For the first month we will run it at the low boost setting (5.6 psi) and work out the bugs (if any) and perfect the program for it... Then i will be getting the HKS boost controller for it and turn up the boost. I am sure that there will be a few unexpected hurdles - so we'll see.

Hey, anytime... but I do believe the "low boost" on the PE is more like 4.5psi, unless its diff for the G ?

G'luck man. And I *know* I can beat my own time, hehe...

It is 5.6 on the G kit (according to Adam of PE USA - haven't dug out the figures - if there are any - from the PE paperwork itself). We'll see soon enough.

Thats all I wanted to know. I laughed soo hard because I read the post about the PE turbo efficiency first and I saw my reply in your sig. That was damn funny, and "NO COMMENT" on your plate.

Dude I have my own fan club at the local Nissan dealer here, lol. The service girl was like "Why the HELL does your plate say assmonkey?!?!"

That somehow flowered into her hugging me & buying me lunch everytime I come into the shop now

The wastegates on the PE kit are set to 4.2-4.4psi..unless they changed them for this application. Also, the base PE kit doesnt include a TS Reflash, so maybe when they reflash, they are turning up the boost.
Good Luck G...looks great!

For some reason i think its even sweeter that its going into a G35 sedan! No one will see it coming when you blow their doors off! LOL keep us updated ...how long will the install take?

It seems as though they DID change things here (the actuator springs). The stock actuator rating is what I have got from PE USA. I was surprised also. The ECU reflash is of course NOT included with the base PE kit. In fact, their official line is that the warranty is VOID if you reflash the ECU. Whatever?

That IS what I am going for! I do realize that many do not consider the sedan to be a sports car. I can see how they can arrive at that conclusion (bigger size, ~200lbs extra weight); but one would be the wiser not to dismiss the car's capabilities if it's done right, there are many examples of this. I love the Z, but I really love my G. Plus, I DID in fact NEED 4 doors, didn't track the car, and preffered the additional luxury. Anyway.... to each his own.

The install will take approximately 3 days. We WILL be finished by the end of the week. Will keep you posted.

All the way! Now it's a race - whoever blows up the engine first wins!

I am around all summer Ches - all the way up to mid-September. SO we'll definitely have the time. LEt me know when you are back in town. Thanks for your help with all the questions/concerns over the past 4 months, god knows how much I bugged you!

THey started up the car yesterday - the install took 2 days exactly - as predicted. Can't wait til morning to see how it went - will be there first thing!

See you soon.

Gurgen
