Figured why the hell not... had a customer going up there and was curious to see what his car ran and I was very curious to see what our TT car ran also.
Currently the only power mods on the car are the Greddy TT, Greddy FMIC, and kinetix test pipes/borla exhaust. The vacuum lines are not even hooked up to my boost controller and the car runs a 5.5-5.8psi during full throttle.
Stock rims and tires. I couldnt get traction in first no matter what.
My best 1/4 was 13.22
My best trap was 112mph
I had 3 runs and my 60's were between 2.248-2.371
Obviously a 12 second car (considering that trap speed)... if I could get it out of the hole.
I tried a a different launch each time, which pretty much no difference. Oh well, the Volks are UPS tracked to get here Friday, so enough with these tires, and the 275 S-03s will be enough for the current HP level and hopefully a few more psi.
Back when the car was stock I was able to get a 2.0 60', but just once. Its really hard on these 18's to not get wheel hop.
I am happy with the results... more like I am happy with what I know the car could have as results if I could launch it. For under 6 psi, its pretty impressive.
I have been getting in lots of races the last couple days, have yet to loose one. Mod'd S4, Stock Viper RT/10, Mod'd WS6, and plenty of other insignificant wins. Pretty fun stuff... I bet you Greddy TT guys love your cars, especially since your all running more boost than I!

Hi.. Good to see you are testing the car in "real world Conditions"
Did you happen to do any data logging? A/F the biggy..
Interesting as you had 2sec 60's before adding all the HP..
Now lower time on the 60's
That is our experience here... Informally - That is off track..
Time between shifts is drastically reduced
Ha !
Second Gear pulls have wheels breaking loose. And third is a little
slipery as well... This is with Tony DG's Wld350Z..
He is using the E-Manage and fuel consumption is terrible.. I belive he is using a map from Gq_626... From what I gather Tony's car is using 30% to 40% more fuel than normal...
Although we have some information on the E-Manage programing.
We really need some help about now... The car is running with way to much fuel - wasted... No pump changed yet.. Stock
What can you suggest?
Cheers Amy

P.S. Greddy Ignition timeing loom not install, due to concerns of coil damage.

Amy, his 60foot times are higher becuase of traction problems.
The map I gave Tony is designed for 7psi...not 5.5psi...he knows this. So it's going to be richer than normal
Tell him to load the Greddy base map that Kenji gave him...that should help with his fuel consumption probs.
The weird thing is even with my 9psi, I am getting better mileage than him. Also, I think his miscaluated the fuel mileage...and needs to double check it. He claimed to get 140miles to tanks! This is impossible unless he is on the track and roadracing!

times are looking good!
not the same greddy kit, but at 5.5# i ran 13.0@110 w/ 2.0 60'
all this on a dying clutch. (slipping in 3rd and 4th)
i dont think the 275's will help much, cause i had 275 SO3's on during my runs. (on 19" GT-Cs)
after installing my twin-disk carbon clutch, and upping the boost to about 8psi, i was able to run 12.7 @115 w/ 2.2 60'. (same rimes/tires).
i really want to make some runs on DRs or slicks. i think 12 flat or maybe lower would be possible.

275 S03's won't do much for off the line traction, compound/tread isn't for dragging.
No FI here and I can't get traction launching with my 285 S03's -- but they sure hold on nicely @ high speed curves and turns.

has anyone noticed 19's slowing them down much in the 1/4? I wasnt sure if I should expect any help at all off the line... but I am kinda... the S03s are definatly not for drag racing, but they are a little softer than stock and a bit wider... hoping to get at least 2.0's with them and some more practice... but then again the whole bigger wheel thing might make me slower all the way down the track.

BTW, I will be putting on drag radials... but I need to find a 18" wheel to fit the 295's that I am also positive will clear the stoptech 14" in the rear. If I knew of a wheel that would fit this for sure, I would order immediatly so I could use the drag radials.
I ran a 13.246 at 112.01 with a 60ft of 2.205 and a 13.39 at 112.76 with a 60ft of 2.442. All of these runs were at 6.4lbs of boost in my G35 coupe. I am sure my 20" IForged aeros aren't helping my 60ft's or my quarter mile times. Next purchase will be some slicks or drag radials of some sort.

On the S03's the wear rating is 220, the factory tires are 140..
I have a set of S03's on my Maxima ( Six Spoke Performace Z rims ) They are a great tire but are a harder tire... I tested a set of RE-040's on the Max and they were faster in sweeping turns.
Tire slip with your 19's may remain the same.. But if you experiment with tire pressure..
You may be happy... No TPS in your rim's I presume..

Cheers Amy
