Default Defi D-Gauges

You can see my current mods in my sig. I have a new plenum and exhaust on order. I have read thru many posts that one of the first things you want to do in the modding process is to monitor the A/F ratios. I have been looking at the Defi gauges. I like the look of these gauges. I also want a gauge that illuminates orange to match the factory gauges. I also want all of the gauges that I may need in the future to be the same. I'm ****!! Defi gauges are the only ones that I have found that are illuminated in orange and are not in metric. I am assuming that the Defi D-Gauges came with all sensors included with the gauges. The A/F gauge shows from 10-17 on the face. It is also only $116. Are these gauges good and is this A/F gauge one of those "you get what you pay for" things? Thanks for any help ahead of time. I am new to the modding world.

Zach

Forget the Defi A/F gauge, it's narrow-band and will give you B.S readings. Get an AEM wideband, you have to spend the $400, but it's the only way to go.

2nd that!

And yeah, the D-Guages are probably the nicest mechanic guages I have seen in American readings...everything else is Metric. And they match the amber glow of the factory guages perfectly...make sure to get black so they match!

The D-series guages the original poster was refering to are only $100. They are mechanical...not electronic.

You could get a Zetronix wideband for $250 and the Defi A/F gauge to read the analog output of the WB, and it will match your other gauges. You would still need to monitor the wb with a PC but the Defi would give you a good quick glance at your AF.
