I live in California and smog legal issues are a major concern to me. I was very close to purchasing a Vortech kit until I learned there have been some slight set backs on getting a CARB EO number. Is there an ETA for the resolution of this problem? The pending EO number is the only thing holding me back from buying this kit and I am sure there are others in California that are in the same predicament.

From what I have gathered there is some type of emission coding issue ending in the letter A versus the letter C code (4NSXV03.5G7C). Can we (forum members) help locate a vehicle with this code to solve this problem? I appreciate your help.

There have been a couple posts on this board about this code. We are still looking. If it gets any longer out, we may wait for which 2005 model we will need to use...

 

yeah ... this is the only thing stopping me from doing this as well ... please find a car and get it tested
