vortech belt problem...help!

Default vortech belt problem...help!

Hey guys, i am almost finished installin my kit, and i came across a problem. the main serpentine belt is rubbing against the upper and lower part of the engine that sticks through the plate. anyone else have this problem? if so what did you do?

I know looking at mine , the belt comes with in a 1/16 of an inch away from the bolts . Does your belt squeel at start up ?If so its to loose and will jump around and hit them bolts . Other than that I see 3 spacers , one is very small and the other2 [lower ones] I cant tell if they are the same size or not . If they are diff. size , one may be in the wrong spot , letting the bracket sit closer to the motor. Hope you figure it out

If you have the spacers in the right locations, while it is extremely close, they should not rub.

mine is close, but not rubbing....

to ad insurance to this, i chamfered the bolt heads some......

ok thanks guys, problem was i forgot the spacers....stupid me. anyway, i have the spacers in now, and the belt is fine.
