Question airbag sensor on greddy TT

I was wondering how greddy TT owners have their airbag sensore mounted. I have seen a lot of pics of other TT installs and they all seem to have it mounted horizontally. Mine is mounted this way as well. However, i think 350NOw says that it should be mounted vertically? which is the right way? any pictures of the right way of having it mounted. I know that on a stock 350Z the sensor is mounted vertically.

Hey Fernandito7,

Sorry for taking so long, this week has been a hectic week. Here are pics of my airbag sensor mounted vertically.

Yes on impact the sensor has a ball bearing that drops, and fires the bags..

The connector wires must be down - relative to the block.

There is a convenient place to mount it..

The hood release is very near - about a 1/16" - so bolt it on low..

Jeff 350Now is a wealth of knowledge.. Pick his brains often

P.S. I'd run with the guy !

Cheers Amy -

Yea thanks Amy. I relocated the sensor as how 350now has it. Im pretty sure that may have been the reason y GQ and binis airbags didnt deploy when they got into the accidents.
