Default Using The Jwt Oil Spacer On Vortech System

If I use the JWT billet spacer for the tap point for the vortech oil return to the oil pan, can I just use it with the factory recmommendations oil capacity, I know that the JWT spacer was made to add 1 additional quart of oil. But I want the oil to return above the oil line so the oil can discharge faster from the blower. Thanks

sorry can't help...but i have a curious question, why do JWT say that an extra quart of oil is a good engine insurance for those who race their cars? I mean, does oil leak when you are racing???

I don't think the oil leaks, well it's not supposed to anyway.
I think the theory is this.

More oil == more volume

More Volume == longer time to heat up

Less heat == good for engine

Nope...the return will still be below the oil level.

So if I'm planning on buying a supercharger its a good idea to get the oil spacer or unnessesary?
