I like how they look, but agree that they need to be set back about an inch or two. Also, they look good from the front, but in the top view they look a little out of place against all the black/dark gray colors of the dash. Perhaps wrapping them in that Carbon Fiber sticker stuff might make them not stand out so much.

Interesting feedback kinda a love or hate thang - I am looking at cutting the mounts closest to the driver back - waiting for the gauges to come in to confirm fitment - Also I thought the aluminum would look cool initially, but they also cause glare on the windshield at certain times of the day and at certain angles, kinda like the rear strut bar - I think I'm going to anodize them a gunmetal - if I can find someone to do this for me....

Hey booger,
How do like your SPA gauge? Reliable (so far)? Accurate? How long have you had it? Does it match the Z closely enough with the orange backlight?

I see your using ASP gauges . I have the boost and fuel pr gauge. Make sure you get the angle right with them gauges , Or they will be hard to see . And I agree the pods need to be cut back a little

My lights are green or red . I had problems with blowing fuzes . I called them and they sent out a new gauge right away . But I still was blowing fuzes . I called back and they sent out a new wireing harness and every thing good again .They seem to work fine and are pretty accurate . I did a live recording with the R4 software and my boost gauge read exactly what the r4 read . I like that you can recall the highest reading the gauge reads . Im not to keen on the visabillity of it [ angle is not right on mine ] I got them in my cubby , and they sit at an odd angle . But thats my fault....Bill

Final Pics before Install - Pic 1
The Aluminum pods look cool, but there was some windshield glare, so I had them powdercoated to match the centre console color.
Final Paint Job and hopefully install into dash this weekend - all ready for the SC installers to mount my gauges...

Finally Done!!
I did not cut the pods back because the gauges would not fit....and it actually put the gauges in a perfect line of sight for the driver...

Awesome!
Now THAT looks shweeeeeeet!!! The color is definitely much better than the plain metal. I can't wait to see what it looks like with the gauges installed.
