I had them do some mods that improved the looks and performance of the Vortech. Out of the box, it kicked up to 350rwhp @ 6500 rpms and 308 lbs of Torque @ 4800 rpms. I have checked out the posting and have read that some of you are pulling a lot more power. Haven't had it dyno tuned yet as I'm going to change my mufflers. But when I did run it on the dyno, the tech. said the air/fuel ratios were very good and safe.

How much was the polish thermo coating? How was it done?

 

It cost 375 for all of it including the termo coating. It was done a Performance Coating it Auburn, Washington. They are the top shop in the Northwest. How was it done? Didn't get into those details, but this shop does lot of business for aircraft mfg & race cars. The price gives you the polish look for the difference in price between satin and polish from vortech. Theirs is chrome alumin. You get your choice of colors with the termo coating. I choice black for the stealth look. The blue termo coating is finished with a clear coat.
