I was just wondering where everyone ran their red and black wires. I know red goes to 12V switched and black goes to ground. I was kinda thinking of running the wires behind my HU and splicing in back there. However, I dont like the idea of having to pull my HU and center panel. So, like I said, where did everyone splice into for each of these wires. By the way, I also think Im going to use a serial port as shown in the instructions so I can log my AF ratios. Is it as simple as wiring the serial port as shown and then hook it up to a computer and use hyperterminal to log?? Thanks for any answers.

One easy switched 12v source is the cig lighter.
