Default will i need injectors?

i dont need them now because im using the vortech, but i may be buying a single turbo kit soon, hopefully, and i plan on reaching the 500 mark, since i also bought some rods/pistons, when do you think i should look into injectors?

You might want to wait and see what the fuel solution for the single turbo kit is before actually purchasing fuel injectors. If it comes with no piggyback ECU then you'll probably use a combination of TS reflash and something scalable (like eManage) to allow you to increase the injector size.

One of the questions you need to ask yourself is what fuel pressure are you comfortable running?

The Vortech system which uses stock injectors is able to provide enough fuel to support over 400 rwhp, but it does so by increasing fuel pressure to levels that some may not be comfortable with over the long haul.

One idea might be to use the Vortech fuel system and change to RC440 injectors. The question then would be if the SS box can reduce fuel pressure enough during off-boost to not flood the car. You can change the washer on the FMU (reducing from 8:1 to 6:1 or 4:1), but to my knowledge nobody has tried this with the G35/350z Vortech kit yet.

I second Zimos comments - I was not comfortable with Vortech's solution and am going with bigger injectors and a fuel return setup.

I think without question...if you are looking for reliable and stable power above 500whp, new injectors are manditory.

I might be setting up a group buy shortly on bigger RC injectors for everyone. You can pick whatever size you want!
