The AC duct placement is awesome, but wouldn't running the heater for long durations damage it?

I am think the same thing! You gonna have to drive with a blanket on you LOL

I wanted to remain as stock and stealth looking as possible inside the car.

I don't routinely look at them and I don't know why you would really need to to be honest. The A/F gauge is more important as far as being closely monitored and mine will be right there in front where it can be easily seen (it's being installed right now)

It's not like I can't occasionally check the boost gauge if I want to. Also, the Greddy gauges I have, have a maximum memory function. You hit reset and then drive. You can then pull over, hit a button, and it'll tell you your max. boost and max EGT.

Looked at the door today and realized it wouldn't be very difficult to cut a small sheet of plastic to shape and place it between the door grommet and the AC duct in the dash to block the airflow from reaching the gauge. Might have to give this a try. Only tough part is going to be routing the cable through the door wiring (tight spot)
