Anyone have forged internals on their G35/Skyline 350GT with forced induction??? if so how much boost are you putting up and how much hp/tq along with ya other mods? 1/4 mile times, etc? Is it possible to reach 1000hp on the VQ??

To my knowledge, nobody has put forged internals on the G35. But several people have on the 350Z, and its the same motor...so there should be no difference in terms of power potential.

600whp is doable on the stock block with forged pistons and rods. 1000whp would likely require a re-sleeved block and closed deck, and whole host of other mods. Needless to say...1000whp would be totally unstreetable.

I assume you are talking 1000whp...right?

 

Whoa...1000whp vs 1000hp at crank - Does it really matter?? Just get a jet engine funny car!!!

 

We have done 2 G35's but they are both in the break in stage so I do not have numbers on them yet.

The 350z that we did with the same motor did 570 Rwhp at 14 Lbs of boost and should easily do 750 Rwhp on race gas.

1000 Rwhp is possible...it just takes money

I believe Bolder Nissan has also done at least one G35 with forged internals and a bumped Greddy TT setup.

 

A G35 w/ forged internals would be like Anti-Viagra for V8 owners.
