My Z is in the shop having the EVO II exhaust and test pipes installed and to trouble shoot a little issue I was having with a boost leak. I just got the news that there is a cracked seal in the fuel pump assembly. The crack in the seal was located after Godspeed began investigating a lean condition that existed when they put it on the dyno to retune it. Anyone else have this problem? More importantly, does anyone know where I can get a used fuel pump assembly to get a new seal? I need one ASAP. Thanks in advance.
Which seal? The seal where the bottom of the fuel pump jams into the assembly?
The fuel assembly is expensive.
Like around $300, and it comes complete with a fuel pump as well. I wasn't able to locate spare parts.

I have a spare fuel pump assembly. Minus the little rubber boot that seats the pumps spout into the housing. I paid lots for this assembly from nissan and went to numerous dealerships to find just for that small rubber boot. Would love to sell if you can use it! PM me if so.

I also have the rubber O-ring that seats the assembly to the tank. Neither parts have been used.

I'm not quite sure which seal is cracked. I''ll check first thing in the morning with Godspeed. Mike, I really hope that one of those parts is what I need. I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
On a side note, does anyone have an idea why the seal would crack? Maybe just a manufacturing defect?

There are several places were the assembly can crack. It is entirly made of plastic and appears to be glued together in some places. I doubt if its a defect, most likely it occured during the fitting of the Walbr 255 pump or return line tap. If the plastic assembly is cracked then you need the entire part that I have. It normally cost $350 after shipping from Nissan but I will make you a good deal if need be.

I think the piece that you needed and used is what I need. The piece that seats the pumps spout on top the fuel pump. It was described to me as looking like 12 O rings stacked on top of each other like an accordian. I think I may have found the part I need. I'll let you know. Thanks.
