Default E-Manage -- throttle position?

I have E-Manage and the Profec E-0 and I'm trying without much luck to scale my 380cc injectors to 650cc injectors. There are some places where I need to take out fuel and I'm assuming the only way to do that is to use the Air flow map.

However, AFAIK I am not tapping the throttle position signal. Is anyone doing that? If so, how?

Also, are the E-Manage maps additive? In other words, if I make changes to the injector map and the air map with they add?

Zimbo,

For TPS functionality in the eManage, you need to connect the gray wire from the emange harness to Pin# 50 of the ECU. Here'a a diagram with that addition that I made:
350Z eMange wiring diagram

As for the maps being additive...
If you make a change to a number in the Injector map you are adding fuel to the mixture which will make your A/F richer, but if you change a number in the Air map you are adding air to the mixture which will result in a leaner condition.

Hope that helps

Thank you! That is very helpful.

If only I had seen that info before deciding to take my RC injectors back off the car

Zimbo, trying scaling them a littel bit further.

Can you describe how your car runs? Idles? part throttle, light acceleration...wide open??

Also Zimbo, you dont need to necessarily connect the TPS input. The map you are adjusting is MAF vs. RPM, and MAF is a good surrogate for TPS. You dont really need both. And since more people are tuning with MAF vs. TPS, there might be a better collection of MAF based maps floating around vs. TPS.

Just trying to help.
