hey guys, i finally got around to getting my guages and i was wondering which bank did you guys tap for the EGT sensor? Does it matter which side it is? and where exactly should i tap for it? I was thinking about tapping into one of test pipes, but i dotn knwo if that is correct or not.. Thanks for the help in advance!

 

The EGT sensor needs to be 3 to 4 inches from the head to get an accurate reading.

 

Yeah, It's gotta be in the exhaust manifold or else it's worthless. I put mine on the #3 runner of bank 1.
