Default are my conclusions right

Newbie here that had/has limited knowledge of the science of FI who (mistakenly?) put his faith in a manufactures "know how".

Been lurking here for some time but spent most of my time reading some of the longest but most informative threads on this subject on the net... credit to you all.

For background, I live in UK and have a Procharged 350GT, aka G35 coupe. I don't track the car but like fast road work. My miles are 70% ciity 30% highway, so 320ish whp is about nice. Having taken the car off the road for what I suspect is piston ring problems and having read said threads, I have come to the following conclusions.

1) stock internals are ok for my required whp, but the timing issues need to be addressed. Way to go J&S. (TS remapping isn't an option as they believe the JDM spec is different)
2) Low compression isn't an option because of the low end city driving issues and the static boost of the ATI unit.?
3 Forged pistons would be an overkill cause the ring land is the same and if the timing issue isn't sorted the end result is eventually the same?

Have I got it right ?

The car is stock ex the S/C and UK premium gas is rated (I'm told, is the USA equivalent of 95 octane)

Thanks guys.

You've got it right. The J&S will be the easiest solution for the timing issue. Your premium fuel will help with any timing issues, but the assumption is that the factory tuned the ecu for the fuel it is expected to see, thus you are most likely in the same situation as us in the US. (sorry, hope that made sense? ) A properly tuned piggy back may or may not do a little better and gain you a little power, but requires more effort.

PS-I have a J&S brand new for cheap so let em knwo if you're interested. Just PM.

Pardon my ignorance, what is a J&S and what does it do?
