bump - what's up with the aem ems thread posted by the shop - is it in limbo till they become a paying vendor?

Yes, it is in Limbo until I become a sponsor..... which I am willing to do. Unfortunately my emails and PMs have returned no responses!!

 

How is the AEM better then the Fcon Vpro?

 

to my knowledge there is no aem yet.. there was work but droped??? not sure though

 

Sound Performence has the AEM EMS developed for the VQ35 and its for sale as far as i can tell.

 

it has to be a universal unit i doubt aem figured cam phasing

 

there was another thread about this topic and explained the release of the kit! what happened to it.

im looking forward to this kit.

 

yah its between AEM or Unichip new version if aem steped to the plate id be very happy.. maybe they might do something since they have the tanner foust aem z

 

AEM is where its at, i have two buddies with 10 sec evos on AEM, and a handful of 11 sec civic all tuned with aem, and my good buddy with a daily driven 700 hp supra with aem... as far as i can see aem is bada$$... my concern is do i really need it. would it be worth the extra $$ for the AEM over utec with tuner pro, not to mention more tuning time... we will see, time will tell.

I dont think any of the systems out yet have the VTC control figured out. Doesnt mean they dont work on the car though.

I was wondering if anyone has some hard specs on it like what size are the fuel maps, etc..

 

to my understanding motec system has the figured out vtc, or at least the grand -am team using it has...

 

I am working on the variable valve timing control now. Should have it working with the AEM soon!

 

SP hows the sponsor status coming along?
