I've read on several threads that superchargers are easier to maintain why? I was wondering what kind of maintences are required that differentiate each other in their ways. Mainly, what type of maintenance do turbocharged Z/Gs must go through vs supercharged Z/Gs?

 

SC's have slightly more maintenance. Belt adjustments, belt replacements are the primary adjustments that need to be done periodically.

With turbos, there is no "extra" maintenance. Just frequent synthetic oil changes, and power cool down techniques.

 

If you go the ATI SC route you will have to change the oil in the SC regularly. No big deal from what I have heard but, it is maintenance.
