Default 3 or 5 angle valve grind for turbo heads

What is recommended for turbo applications....a 3 or 5 angle grind on the valves?? Thanks.

full radius is best...though expensive and not always possible.

I'll check with our machinist next week and see what he is planning on with my heads...I'll also check to see what Nissan gives us from the factory

From what I have been told, they need to use a Serdi valve machine (I know i butchered that spelling), and they can do a 3 angle of 5 angle job. I've been told the gains between 3 and 5 angle are negligible. Maybe someone has more info on this topic.

Almost all stock heads these days are 3 angle. The only way you'll get any decent gains is with a full radius valve job.

That should be a standard procedure after any port and polish.??
