This sucks...do these sensors die this quickly? I was driving my car around, and noticed the guage was totally erratic. Off the scale lean and off the scale rich at idle...and cruise. I flooored it...and it went totally lean..and then again...totally rich.
I think the sensor is toast. Car runs exactly the same as before. Also dynoed it a couple days ago and my A/F was as expected. I mounted my sensor on the test pipe, which is too close to the turbo, according to the instructions....so I think I killed it.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I think the replacement sensors are 50-75 bucks.

Wide-band sensors are usually VERY short-lived.
Per the reason the high end setup recommend NOT running them all the time.
That sounds a bit shorter than normal, might want to call AEM for their opinion... and possible replacement.

I went with the Tech Edge WBO2 for one reason... the replacement sensors are cheap. This is typical, in fact, mine went out 9k miles. I did some research before I bought it and found out that they die quickly, so the price of sensors is a large part of the cost of the WBO2. Sorry for the bad news.
