Niiiiice, I am going to have to come by and see this in person!

Tell Rob and his wife that my old wheels look awesome on that Z!

Keeping the Nismo exhaust after the TT install is done? Intrested to hear what it sounds like after. Why did the Borla get switched out?

What's the plan on boost levels and or any other motor work?

well, thank you jason! i love my wheels, thanks for selling them to me

to answer your question, after a few track days the borla exhuast began to move around and rattle. I wanted to try the nismo since it is really only 3 major pieces. It seems to stay in place better and i do love the sound, so the nismo exhaust will stay.

as far as boost goes, my car will probably stay near to the preset boost level of the aps kit since it will be the demo car for Z Car Garage. ZCG has other customers with pistons and rods and order, so i'm sure we'll see some big boost levels at some point.

i am beyond excited!

thanks to kyle and bobby from stictly z for helping me get my kit so quickly and for posting those beautiful pics. stay tuned!

From my local info, this first APS system will be put on the OEM untouched engine, Just like the first MRC setup . It's not stupid , he intends to keep the boost low. Some people just can't justify the extra cost at this time. In a few months Z-car Garage will be doing a couple fully built setups. One prolly being my G35C. The longblock is in the shop now.

I think pulling theengine to bolt on manifolds is not needed..If you were going to bolt on the Turbos and the downpipes also at the same time buy I doubt it will fit back in wit the turbos on..JMO, I could be wrong..

Then why would you pull out the engine? That would be a monumental waste of time....since the APS kit is much easier to install than the Greddy.

Or maybe you are talking about a different car?

No CARB EO as of now though we hope to make application before year end................we have conducted preliminary emission testing in Australia so we are very hopeful of gaining an CARB Exempt Order for the APS TT system.

Because , though easier to install than Greddy, a few of the manifol and turbo bolts are still pretty hard to reach and TQ accurately.

Daking , sounds like MRC has chaged opinion on in-palce vs. R&R?
Early accounts seemed to sway toward R&R in future (new Longblock or not).

The method chosen by Z-car suits me fine, since I have to go that route anmyway with the built block and won't be the first install that way .

Either method will work but I really dont seem to think the Turbos will leave much room for the engine to fit back in without hitting something.I wouldnt want to damage those nice turbos doing so..Who knows it may fit we shall soon find out..
