lots of money for F/I
My friend is fortunate and has a ton of money to put into a new 350z. I am talking like 100k+, but he wants to keep it simple. Just for power, what would you do to get low low 11 second time slips or better?

Uhhh!! Keep it simple with 100 grand..that seems to contradict each other.. I have an idea, tell him to sell the car and buy a 911 turbo..

Definitely AEBS stroker kit with 8.5:1 CR. Then HUGE boost. Greddy for their 18Gs at like 20 PSI, Turbonetics at 21 PSI, or APS at say 18-20 PSI....All good ways to go fast...But with that kind of money DEFINITELY AEBS stroker kit.

AEBS stroker would be slapped on immediatly..and maybe either APS kit or a Turbonetics kit with maximum hp.. why shoot for 11's when you can go 9's..let me wake up now..

Guys...as anyone actually seen/heard of a stroker kit being installed? I have heard they are not working correctly on our motor...some kind of design issue.
Does anyone have more information on a successful AEBS stroker kit installations?
Instead, I would just sleeve and build up the stock block. It's good for 1000whp and 8000rpm if done correctly.

Bah, I wouldn't stroke it that's a waste. The stroke on this motor is already too long. I would build the motor with CP pistons, pauter rods, Darton sleves. Then do all the headwork, porting, oversized ss valves, lightweight valvetrain components. Then install a TT system and tune it with a standalone and some 80lb injectors. That would easily land you in the 11's if not high 10's with a good tune.

I'd throw the stroker kit at it as well. I'd rather go custom with the turbo kit, on the lines of dual GT35's or GT45's and push a ton of boost. You'd probably need a custom IC as well, one really big *** one, along with a custom intake plenum, larger throttle body, crazy head, etc.. etc.. etc...

etx has it right on the money.
Like I've said a million times.. the stroke on this motor is near ideal right now, if not a little long. I wouldn't install an AEBS stroker on my engine if they gave it to me for free.
Second of all.. consider the fact that this guy may actually want to drive his car after modifying it. Have any of you driven a 9 second car? It sucks *****. Almost everyone I know with a car in the 9s or 10s (quite a few) rarely ever drives the car. It looks good in the garage, but they're just not fun to drive.
Stroker and GT35/45 my ***.
11's are easy. Pistons, rods, APS TT, and good tires.

who is ur friend? is he made up? i mean its a good way to get our ideas on what to do with a hundred grand but just ask, dont get our hopes up by inventing a false super car that we all wait for and never hear of again.
