So you just replaced the shitty spot with a piece of high temp hose and some clamps?

i just replaced the entire pipe. it wasnt very expensive IIRC and lesson learned. i bent the new one out of the way a little and put a wrap on it to protect it. roughly 5 years later never had a problem.

Ancient thread is an understatement....5 year old thread.

You need to reroute away from the compressor, or else your new hose will also fail.

I did the same thing, bought the oem line from nissan, heated it with a torch and bent it to fit properly, wrapped it a bit and it sits plenty far from the compressor housing now. No problems since... knock on wood.

If it was to happen again I would prob go the SS line route.

Old thread but surely helpful to New FI guys, it helped me when I had my issue.
