I know I'm not a regular here in FI topics but I know bussiness... Expressing what is the professional opinion on something have to have more than negative thougth on desing... just by looking at the product and having no suppourt on the desiner to answer any of the quiestion or comments here in the forum is not quite the proffesional opinion that is said... I respect any opinions on any products goods or bads but the facts are that this kit is around &3,000 - 3,500 less than the competitors (Turbo kits) and the installaition is practicly easy, besides that Turbonetics have been around for along time know and they are very respectable company... In my opinion with only the first one mention is worth all the money you can spend on a turbo kit... this is my opinion based with the facts!

No disrespect for anyone!

In others words... I respect all opinions good or bad but the facts are that Turbonetics kit is around $3,000 - 3,500 less than Greddy, APS or PE and the installaition is practicly easy... Thats are the main reasons that I will go with this kit... simple as that

Sorry for the bla bla bla!!!

hmm, I do totally see APS Peter's point though

I have a bachelors in Nuclear engineering, when you need to merge two pipes going one direction filled with hot, pressurized gasses, you want the place where they come together to be as gradual and large as possible

But once again let's wait for the numbers. They will speak for themselves.

I think it great to see both APS and Turbonetics on this site . If any one remembers ATI and Vortech......you could hardly get any thing from them on this site...but you know they were reading every thing said about them here . It's still like pulling teeth with Vortech to get any info out of them about there system for these cars . So be thankful that these guys are here to help and give info freely

i guess they expect sales from the bling bling? j/k. If they could solve that 90 degree meeting it would be a lot better.

Gee that boost curve is very disappointing.......less than 2 PSI at 2500 rpm is not much to rave about.........maybe the turbo housing or turbine wheel is too large for the engine displacement

Yeah dude ok....Building boost at 2500 with the flow being merged the way it is is far from dis-appointing. Take a hint read the thread from Alpine a guy who has your APS kit installed and you'll see that its not the tradegdy you make it out to be...

You may want to slow down your coments about this topic... If I was the representative of a company like APS at least I will reserve my opinions about the kit until I see third party tests... is not quite the arguments I specs from the competitor... but this is only my opinion...

boost is relative. That is stock boost, try running more boost and full boost won't hit untill later in the powerband. Try running 20 lbs of boost and you'll probally never get the full 20 psi, maybe in 6th gear.

If the turbo housing and exhaust manifolding was matched/sized more perfectly for the engine displacement both the boost and power curves would be far more useable in day to day driving conditions..............a broader spread of power across the entire rpm range is more desirable.

Hope this helps.
