OT, but what color car are you running Dan? I've hooked up with a few 350z around Ottawa. Believe it or not, there's 2 other Brickyards in Barrhaven (plus mine), my buddy has a black one, and I've met up once with the guy who's got a red lambo-door conversion.

PM me.

They had a dyno chart at SEMA that showed something like 380 Rwhp but the peak wasn't until ~6000 Rpm

I won't comment on the design

Guys from Ottawa... Are you planning on adding FI on your car soon? Maybe we can hook up and get some discounts if we buy more than one kit. (?) I'm planning on doing it next Spring....

PM me if interested... Later,

I am waiting to find a good deal on a Super Black 03. There are a few in Toronto I will be taking a trip to inspect If I don't find exactly what I want, I will be forced to buy new.

I have already decided on the APS TT kit, APS Catback and possibly a built shortblock or I will get the Pauter rods and Arias pistons.

My plan is 12psi for daily driving and 20psi at the track.

I have a feeling TappAuto is going to do the install and tune.

The dyno chart of the car was 385 but they have one that have 409 rwhp with only 8 psi... the peak is a little high because they did the pull on 4th but step on the gas on almoust 2000 rpm... any turbo will do the same more or less... theres a video on Miaplaya topic where the Z with the kit doesn't reflect any lag on street draving... but this topic is to share the desig with the people that are very interested on the kit!

btw this was on stock exhaust!

I have also pretty much decided on the APS kit once it gets out for the G35. Where are you going to get the kit from? I'll be installing it myself, tuning by Tapp..

Later,

Well props for wanting to install the kit yourself.

I don't have nearly that much patience and tools. lol

Sounds like Ottawa is going to have some pretty fast 350Z.

Did they have any info on when it came onto full boost? I saw in another thread around 4000rpm, is this still the case with the production kt?

Yes it is. As soon as my kit is installed I will have it dyno'd locally again and post my sheet. I am also looking for any out of the box Greddy, PE, and APS kit guys who would like to do a comparison

That design is kinda weak. The intercooler piping after the intercooler piping is extremely long. Also the exhuast pipes should come together at a little bit better angle. That looks like a 50 degree angle. That is going to cause a slower spool for sure.

MIAPLAYA, Cool, im sure you'll enjoy it

turbo-maxima, Obviously there are alot of space limitations so im sure they didnt have much of a choice regarding most of those bends.

Yeah I had a good look at the single turbo at the show and I was fairly disappointed with both the design and execution...............I don't believe that the production system could possibly look like this.

Where the pipes merged from one bank to the other was really strange................surley the merge of these 2 pipes could be executed in a manner which would aid gas flow.

No flames intended just an engineering observation.

I'm pretty sure you are all aware of the space issues. I'm not going to turn this into another Turbonetics vs The World thread but honestly the thread was started for those of us who are interested in the kit. Greddy and all other kits have their own drawbacks as well. Lets not even start on the issues people have had with some threaded holes, wastegate gaskets, etc on the Greddy kit. To each his own. This is what I want and am getting. Likewise for many others. If its not your cup of tea cool.
