vortech yields good power w/ mild tuning, and right now, the cheapest.
ati procharger is another centrifugal (same type of technology as the turbo's you're familiar with, except belt driven rather than exhaust driven) supercharger that fits auto's.
stillen is a screw type and requires a mod to the hood (power bubble). not friendly for additional tuning. however, because of this, there is less chance of error, and may reduce installation time and cost, also can be purchased w/warranty. arguably more efficient at lower rpm's (daily driving), but a lot less power up top (than the centrifugal types).
hks is either out, or coming out. another good design.
i hope this helps

With the Vortech and ATI procharger SC's you may have to raise the rev limiter to get it to shift at WOT . I dont know about the HKS SC . A torque converter and throttle body upgrade will help greatly with shifting faster .
The ATI will have a slight edge for hp over the Vortech SC out of the box . But the ATI has much more potential for more boost .
The Vortech can be run safely from the get go [fuel AND timing control ]
The ATI needs some type of timing control

thanks for the advice. i recently saw on a website, not sure which one anymore, that there is a single turbo setup for the automatic. it sits in the same spot as the sc. does anyone know anything about that setup?

Good info but I disagree on the Whipple (twin screw) having less power on the higher RPMs. A good twin screw SC will deliver boost all the way to redline.
Here's an informative link on the differences of FI:

I just can't believe that when I called ATI and told them I wanted to run a high boost application they told me I was on my own to come up with custom pullys. You would think that a company like ATI would be more then willing to particiapte in such a large engine build. Anyways, PM me if anyone is interested in taking this G35 coupe kit off of my hands.
