Anyone with an 04 coupe have problems with their bose headunit? Mine stopped reading CDs all of a sudden. Going to the dealer next week.

 

Did you play any "burned CDs"? I've heard of failures after trying to play these.

 

most of my cds weren't burned. but i have played burned cds in the past. all of the discs in my changer currently were not burned.

 

mine has been skipping, but its defiitely because of the cold weather. When I put the heat on, it causes water to condense on the cd's. I have to eject them and clean them off, or just wait for the car to really warm up.

 

i have a 05... and having issues with my headunit.. it's Clarion for all models. I'm having the same problem, shuts off randomly also

 

mine doesn't shut off, but only when i play cds, the left speaker goes in and out, this doesn't happen during radio or xm;

i heard of this problem from other coupes, i'm just too lazy to go to the dealer (and too affraid to leave the car there)

 

i have the same problem as sam56n. Everytime i go to the dealership to dublicate this problem the headunit never shows this sort of problem. So then i have to drive home. But as the drive home the problem occurs again but by that time im half way home.

This monday i'll be going to the dealership and have headunti checked out again. I'll demand that i leave my car overnight and have then tear apart my headunit and find anything in particular that is messed up because im just sick and tired of hearing out of my right side speakers!
