I think its True Single . Maybe one isnt functional? LOL.

The G is a V6...so yes a dual exhaust is recommended for maximum air flow. I'm BSing alot of this, to just sound smart.

Your pushing 9psi on your prelude or your G?

Nothing is recommended, its fine stock, its all things you can do.but not recommended.

pearl

When you ask a question that appears to make no sense, it usually gets ignored. The folks here are very helpful, when a sensible question is asked. As requested, can you clarify please

what i would like to know is should i remove the the stock exhaust including the y pipe and run piping to a single style muffler. will this (+) or (-) hp. sorry if my question sounded ignorant. i type faster than i think sometimes

i run 9psi on my prelude. G is stock except for rims and suspension.

dual definitely looks better when done correctly, but for most 4 banger applications if your wanting max performance single is the way to go..

I don't he has a true dual but a single exhaust that splits into 2 canisters....I think its more of a look than performance mod on a 4 banger.

i think the answer he is looking for is, Is it better to run dual exhaust on the G than a single back.

Yes in my opinion it is better. Better Flow generally means more power. You just have to keep in mind that the G35 lives on backpressure to get power.

For a true dual, look into the Stillen Exhaust
For a y-pipe/single back, look into almost any exhaust made for the car. Borla and Fujitsubo(sp?) I know are good performers
