I have a 2004 model with the tire pressure sensors. My question is, are the sensors located INSIDE the tire? I recently sold my stock rims to someone and I'm not sure if I just gave away my sensors as well. Although he agreed to give them back to me, he has stopped responding to my messages. I figured someone at age 26 would be more mature than that, but whatever, he's some cheapass anyway. So did I just lose my tire pressure sensors for good?

 

yes, they are inside the wheel.

 

It's part of the valve stem. You have to somewhat remove the tires to get them out.
