Default 350z transmission same as 6mt G?

A few weeks ago I saw a 350z 6 speed transmission for sale. I was just wondering if anyone knew if they were the same? I'm guessing that they are but they could have a little different gear ratio. Anyone know the difference if there is any at all?

They are exactly the same. But there have been several new versions and upgrades from Nissan.

The 350Z has a carbon fiber driveshaft; the G35 does not.

I believe the Z 6mt has closer ratio than the G35. I'm sure it can be replaced but not worth the money.

i heard the gearing was different for the g, the reason for doing that would probs be the fact that the g is more a luxury car then a sports car like the z, theyre both bad **** cars but i mean maybe they did something with the gearing to make it nicer to drive and cruise with, just what ive heard
