The date set for our local meeting has changed.

FRIDAY MARCH 11 2005
TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
TIME for Drivers; 7am - 4pm
Time for meeting; TBA the meeting will take place during our lunch break and depends on the schedule of Texas Driving Experience

I had the opportunity to visit Texas Motor Speedway last week and have come back with some great news from the folks at Texas Driving Experience, the folks that run this event at TMS.

On Friday, March 11, 2005 they will be hosting the Race Into Spring, Roval Track Day which is open to the public only twice a year. From what I have heard, this is a fun filled exciting experience that should not be missed.

We will incorporate our local meeting into this event so even if you do not wish to drive your car on the track, please come and watch those who will be driving and join us for lunch. There is no cost to watch. For those that want to experience driving on the Oval and the Road Course a deposit will be required. Texas Driving Experience will handle the registration and collect all money.

If you plan to attend this event please send me your name, email and phone number. I will then give you any additional details.

This event is open to all G35 & 350Z owners. There are several forms to complete for this event.

Great! I'm in Tyler, Tx [Like an hour east of Dallas] I'd love to come out and meet some people, won't put my car on a track though. As it gets closer I'll definately come out!! Thanks!

I hate being in utah. If all the g's and z's from this town got together, we'd have 3 people.

 

Yes all cars are welcome. Just let them know you are part of the G35 group.

For those who will be driving their G35’s or 350Z’s at the upcoming Roval Track Day on Friday, March 11,2005. Our sponsor Grubbs Infiniti has offered to perform the Tech Inspection on our cars Free of Charge to G and Z club members.

You must show your DFW G35 Owners Club membership card (WHICH IS FREE OF CHARGE ) and available online at http://www.g35ownersclub.com/clubcards.html. Our club card provides discounts at Grubbs Infiniti and several other local merchants. It also adds your name to the club mailing list to keep you informed of upcoming events.

All we ask is that you call for an appointment and just wait while it is being performed. It should only take about 15 minutes. You must print out the Technical and Safety Form and bring it with you to the dealership. The form is sent with this email as an attachment.

It’s less than 2 weeks away from our day ay the track. If you have not yet enrolled please do so ASAP. We have the ROVAL for a Spring day (Friday, March 11)! AND, we have ADDED a class! For all those that want to get on the TMS ROVAL for the FIRST time, we have created "BEGINNING ROVAL"! This will allow you to get on the ROVAL for 4) 30-minute Sessions, even if you have never driven the ROVAL before!

Contact Dawn Stokes at Texas Driving Experience 817-430-4343. Don’t forget to tell her you are part of the DFW G35 Owners Club. She will tell you which forms to complete now and which are due the day of the event. She will also collect the money for this event.
