thanks guys,

it is very rigid. i have added braces and gussets to every imaginable joint, and there is no flex. it took me about 12 hours to mock up and build, so i don't think i will be making another one...at least in this style.

Bomex180: if you find out who makes this awesome brace, please let me know. it sure is nice.

That looks great. Looks to me that it will work with aftermarket plenums as well, correct?

Hey Chad.... It looks very clean.... and it looks like it will clear my engine/intake manifold even with the 1/2" Motordyne Plenum Spacer.....

I'm interested for sure, let me know how much....

i used VHT high temp wrinkle finish that i bought at a local shop in SD. i cleaned the manifold thoroughly, and sprayed it on. after this, i baked the manifold in the oven for about an hour at 175 degrees. it is very strong paint. i have been pretty impressed. i have always liked the look of the type-R valve cover and 360 modena plenum covers, so i tried to copy them.

the strut tower brace ends are black wrinkle finish. i love the stuff.
