i dynod yesterday but had a boost leak, i kept blowing a coupler off the intercooler, i finally got it fixed by getting a heavy duty hose and clamp.

my numbers were 307hp and 370tq at 3500rpms, but my boost was dropping fast all the way to redline, im hitting 9-10 psi at 3500rpms but at redline it was all the way down to 5 psi, that boost leak was killing me. now that thats fixed i should be around 360s or 370s hp and the same or more of tq.

compared to the vortech, im getting 110 more tq at 3500 rpms.

pretty awesome tq numbers.. i remember getting more tq than HP for awhile with my last car, it's nice to actually FEEL the power. hopefully the motor holds up okay for awhile.

That doesn't sound too reassuring!! How long can you expect your stock motor to last once you go FI? What do you need to do to the internals to keep it from self destructing?

haha, i had the vortech for about 18 months without any problems, hopefully the motor will be fine for another 18 months, its fine if tuned right.

Tig, if you decide to fab vents for your stock bumper, let me know...please.
