Ok G35 experts, I need your help. I'm 99% sure that this was a de and then re badged G35 but I saw an Infiniti 350GT today. At least that's what it said on the back. It was lowered, had some sort of funky aftermarket looking headlights and said 350GT on the right back corner of the car. The guy had a Skyline license plate surround so I figured he had just rebadged the car as a 350GT. I seem to remember hearing something about this before somewhere but can't remember exactly where. My question is: this isn't a production model right? I just wanted confirmation because it was a really clean looking car and I liked it but I was pretty sure it was just all aftermarket stuff.

G35 (USDM) = Skyline 350GT (JDM)

350Z (USDM) = Fairlady Z33 (JDM)

 

Hopefully he/she took off the Infiniti part if they were trying to go with the 350GT scheme

yep a lot of people de badge the G35 and put SKYLINE + 350GT on the back because it is the exact same car in Japan. i did the same to mine. however i changet all infiniti to nissan and only put the SKYLINE one on ... i thought the 350GT would be a little bit too much. Anyway here is me and my baby:

Probably because the Skyline is a Nissan model, not an Infiniti.

I had the NISSAN and SKYLINE badge put on for a while...de-badged the trunk last weekend...just says 350GT my plates spelled 3fitty reversed..i put back the infiniti logo in the front...oh well...

i still love the skyline name but got tired of people going..is that a real skyline..got tired of it...

I just have the 350GT on mine and I always get people asking me if it was a low production G35 or a faster G35. And then I have to explain the whole skyline deal to them.
