hey, i am in orlando, i will be out at the track on friday, might even throw my 100 shot in that came out of my 12 sec G sedan, run some low 12s possibly high 11s. i will run a couple of low 13s NA for you first... us "liars" can definently prove that we know how to drive

and for your 0-60 time question, i have a beltronics acclerometer that cost a couple hundred dollars, it tells 1/4 mile, 0-60 and all kinda other stuff,

i would say your 0-60 is right around 4.9

in my sedan i was 5.3s NA trappin 101.5 and 4.5 nitrous trapping 110 so i would put you right in the middle of the two...

"But the question at hand was: What did 13.1 @106mph translate to in 0-60mph."

You also asked if 13.1 was slow or not..... If you're FI then YES its slow. There's something def. wrong if you're dynoing 212HP to the wheels stock... that's not normal considering the car somes with 270+ to the crank. From what i've read 300RWHP is normal for the GreddyTT out of the box, but i would think a professional tune or re-map would bring out more than 13WHP. I'll give you the fact that its pretty damn hot in FL but still. Also running 3/4 tank??? anyone that really wants to drag thier car knows that you should only have a 1/4 tank. the spare tire isnt going to make THAT much of a difference altough every pound helps.

I answered your question. High 4's I have also estimated my 0-60mph as we have similar times.

Im possibilty #2 You dont know me, but many Z owners from this forum do, and have seen my driving and my car. So stop acting like we are a bunch of Clubsi members lying about 1/4 times.

Your launch is awesome, a 1.9 60ft is great on street tires, seems like you really need to work on your shifting speed some. What was your 1.8 mile e.t. and speed? Let me know we can compare and we can see where you can improve.

Excellent times. Can I see times slips? Thanks.

Yes there is a mathematical way to estimate 0-60 mph times.

Maybe you took out your spare tire, got on xenadrine, put a whole 1/4 tank of race fuel, put your little ice bag on the plenum and the whole 9 yrds.

Fact of the matter is that my car does it hot as hell, with a 3/4 tank of 93 octane, spare tire and no xenadrine.

see i didnt have a problem till you started insulting us, but i think we answered your question...

go buy a Gtech Pro or Beltronics FX2, you will be able to check your 0-60 pretty accurately and it will cost you between 170 to 300 dollars depending on which one you want

ok, my appologies to everybody. I really did not mean to discredit anyone but I had or still have stong disbeliefs about some of these 1/4 mile times. Truth of the matter is that there is a guy in Puerto Rico in a white G35 running 11's and he's the HYPE of the G35 forums and I don't think alot of people are coming even CLOSE to him. Is he a time bomb (about to blow his motor), I don't know. But I know I can drive my car very well and I know its not me making bad numbers... Is it the car? ---> I don't know.

ANyways, the best way to really prove this is at the track where numbers are backed up by slips. My car is STILL at the shop dealing with some severe limp mode issues but as soon as its done, I'd be happy to battle anyone claiming to have a better time than me. If you pull a better time... Trust me, I'm not a hater but instead a CONGRATULATOR... I will let everyone know when I fix the car so we can go head to head.

Honestly, you guys are what keep this forum alive and I respect every one of you. After all, we are all Nissan drivers and that brings us together.

Yes, we do have a lot of Z's hitting high 13's bone stock. We have a bone stock AT Z that ran 13.66 on the boards. I don't know about your driving, but yes, I think your time is slow for a Greddy TT setup with the HP you're pushing (no disrespect intended at all).

I don't know about G owners, but there are actually a lot of 11 second Z's out there now. With continually more and more aftermarket support for the VQ engine, we are seeing a lot of reliable TT kits running around now. Even seeing 500-600whp reliably on stock blocks!!

If any of you have the "Turbo" magazines laying around, on the back of the issue #96 with the Blue Vortech S/Ced 350z on it there is an advertisement for the Greddy TT.
It says boosting 6 psi with factory cats, and completley stock engine the HP should be 370hp/334.2whp, and 339.2ft-lbs at the wheel. They ran a stock Z and did 14.02 @ 101.89 and with the GReddy TT they did a 12.79 @ 106.53. Maybe you are shifting slow as Alberto pointed out? (As he always will) :P

Yes I do have greddy tt's and I don't know what kind of dyno you got your numbers from but my car bone STOCK dynoed at a miserable 212hp to the wheels. After the TT's it dynoed in at 299 and after getting it mapped by Central Florida Turbo, it made 312 whp 326.4 lb/ft torque and 359.6 whp and 366.7 lb/ft torque with the NX n-tercooler kit.

The 1/4 mile time I posetd up was without using the Nitrous (obviously) but my 60ft was 1.9, I run Toyo T1-R 275/35/19 in the rear at low pressure.
My launch is flawless...

We either have a bunch of N/A liars or some pro drag racers in here. I think possibility number one rules here.

Maybe you took out your spare tire, got on xenadrine, put a whole 1/4 tank of race fuel, put your little ice bag on the plenum and the whole 9 yrds.

Not only that, but people are comparing 350Z's to G35 times. Sorry, they are not the same. And the more HP you add, the greater the difference in Lbs/hp becomes.

My point exactly... there's a 200 lb difference between one and the other.
