IMHO everything should be smooth. A passenger should be barely aware that you are driving a manual transmission and not an automatic. If you had a cup of water in the cup holder, the water should stay IN the cup.

This technique is also appropriate for learning to drive at the track. Steering, braking, acceleration and shifting are deliberate and in moderation.

^^^lol

I notice if I am driving normal(shifting at or a little above 2K rpm) and dont shift to fast its smooth, its when Im at low rpms 2K-2500 rpms and try to shift quick is when its a little jerky. Up in the higher rpms its smooths out nice though.

Its hard to drive the Z good enough where the passenger thinks they are in a Auto, the Z is just to sporty, quick clutch, touchy gas, loves to rev quick, the best I can do for my gf is take off slow and easy then get into gas, then ease out real slow before the shift so she doesnt move around alot.
