Default powder coating

Want to have my OEM 19" wheels powder coated. I have a DG coupe and am thinking of a dark silver/hyper silver color almost like the BMW 5series M5 wheels. any suggestions

I had my wheels powdercoated in April. One thing is make sure they apply evenly front and rear. I have dry areas behind the spokes and will be having them redone in September.

For what it's worth, google "Woody's wheel works"

He's here in Denver and has done two different sets of wheels for me. He's not cheap, but you won't find a better place to do it. 35+ years of experience. People from all over the WORLD (not just country) send wheels to these guys. It's a Father/son business. Their customer service is top notch.

He's working on my 20x11 and 20x9 Iforged 3pc Aero's at the moment. These are from today with the center section just sitting on there (no harware installed). (They have to reassemble and seal them Monday then they'll be back on my G).

They generally have about a 2 day turnaround time unless (like me) you have them do other stuff like repolish the lips, unbend 3 of the 4 wheels, etc...

www.woodyswheelworks.com

The color is Pearl Grey w/80% gloss. (blue pearl for the pearl)

For $1300 they:
Dismounted all 4 tires
Dissassembled all 4 wheels
Sandblasted all 4 wheels and clear powdercoated them. (the faces)
Repolished the center caps, hardware, and lips of the wheel
Straightened 3 of the 4 wheels
Reassembled all wheels
Sealed all wheels (time consuming when done right)
Remount/Balance.

And the work is like nothing I've ever seen man... if you want it done right these are your guys.

Suggestions - yes: Make sure you look at sample pieces and DEFINITLEY have them shoot a test piece prior to having your wheels done! Even though I did just that I still had to have mine re-done. The first color looked like **** and nothing like what I was looking for... first 2 pics are the f-up.. second 3 are what I ended with and like. The color (in case you like it) is “Hyper Black Chrome”.

BTW - the pics suck... they do look better in person.
