But yah i agree with the person who said personal opinion.
Although you do see alot more modded z's that look good compared to modded g's that look good.
Stock to Stock i think the older model z's look better then the g (03-05), But the new 06 with new lights front and back beat the Z. IMO
Kudos 2 both cars.

I test drove a Z then sat in a G35. I refused to drive the G. I didn't like feeling like I had a mile of space behind me. That just isn't what I wanted. Most people think that the extra space is better but I felt uncomfortable and couldn't see out very well. I left the Infiniti dealer and called the Nissan dealer to tell them to get all the paperwork ready.
On the otherhand, the G35 gets more respect. Everyone thinks that the MSRP of them when both are new means that since the G is more expensive, it's faster and better. Everyone that knows that the 2 cars are a lot alike tells me that I should have gotten a G35. I'm happy with my Z.

IMHO the G35 Coupe looks sleeker and classier than the Z, if not as attention grabbing. Just as the Acura TL is a notch up in interior quality from the Accord, the G35 is higher rent inside. I also hear that the G35 is more softly sprung.
Funnily enough, in a 2004 test, Car and Driver got better acceleration times from their G than the lighter more powerful Z.

The Z is faster on paper, but I will own you everyday at the track lol. the tenth or so that you speak of is so minimal it's a driver's race.
The biggest difference as people have said is the Z is a 2 seater entry level sports car and the G is a entry level sports coupe. The G might have some extra toys, but that's because people pay more for the G.

I guess most already summed it up. G35:
- Has arguably better interior and has higher status in general public perception (pimper status).
- Rides more comfortable than Z even with its sport suspension. It's also quiter than Z especially above 75 mph.
- Had better warranty, dealer service, and re-sale value.
- Has more backseat (I use it only for 'emergency')! People might not get comfortable but at least, it's useful unlike Audi TT's backseat!

Well, not to be mean but when I've raced G's, the difference is spoken in car lengths, not feet. I prefer speed over comfort. I'd hate to have to a mod a G just to get a Z's stock level.
