Thanks for the heads up. It would really suck to buy them and realize they won't work!

How do you know they are Sentra SE-R calipers? What should we look for?

I'm not familar with the SE-R Brembos and I don't have the track components. How can you tell the difference?

Someone with a sharp eye picked out a set on the G35driver forum a few months ago. I did not even know you could get Brembos on a Sentra (not anymore for 07, but maybe 06). On the front of the face below the Brembo logo their should be a cast in divit/circle. Just look at some forum pictures. They are close but not the same. The Sentra ones are probabally rarer, but who wants a Sentra?

Yeah you could get Brembos on the SE-R Spec Vs as a $2000.00 option. Man this is great thank you all for catching and posting this. I was actually tracking this trough ebay.

I had already emailed the seller the FYI earlier today.

The sentra brembos will bolt up on a G35/350z, but there's several things that need to be addressed before you can be up and running. Bottom line, not worth the trouble.

They use smaller rotors etc....
You can get the correct G/Z Brembos for the same price. Nice of the seller to not update the listing (you know he knows they are misrepresented).

That is half true...

The pad shape is the same part number... but the sentra calipers require a thicker pad... the 350Z / G35 pads are .590 the sentra are 690... to compensate for a thinner rotor...

What's funny is that now the winning bidder of the previous auction is selling the brakes again. Will fit G35 of course.

I'm sure someone in a hurry to pick up some Brembos would never notice the difference.

The drama never ends:

I look for brembos on ebay every now and then, and this comes up:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Sentr...QQcmdZViewItem

The buyer of the previous auction, now realizes that they won't fit a 350z/G35. Of course the seller probably came to that realization, but never bothered to divulge that bit of info in the previous sale.

At least this guy is being honest when he says that it won't fit the 350z.

and once again there actually less than $500 new at the dealer , the z/g brembosare alot more money from the dealer the costs arent even close.

to bad nissan is taking advantage of people with their pricing.

and another thing the brembo option on the spec v is $1000 and just adds them on the front and bigger stock like brakes on the rear.

i have a 04 spec v with brembo option the rotors are also 12" even in the front.

Guys thanks for the kind comments on the sentra
