Default JWT Clutch / UR Flywheel / Nismo Steel Clutch Hose / DC Headers : THANKS StreetImage!

first off...i want to say thanks to Dru at StreetImage for getting my parts and having it installed within an awesome amount of time. dropped it off wednesday night and picked it up thursday nite. stuff that i got done:

JWT Clutch
UR Flywheel
Nismo Steel Clutch Hose
Motul Clutch Fluid
DC Headers
eh...Oil Change

i had an issue with the high engagement point that our stock 05 g35 coupe had...it was like 3-4 inches up from the pedal floor.

NOW...oh man! its like an inch or less! i love it! flywheel chatter...of course u'll have that...its a performance part. noise? i dont really care...i have the radio for that.

before i did all this...i told dru my situation about the high engagement point getting a little higher than usual. he stated that he had an issue with this on his car and that a simple fluid drain and refill will solve it (bubbles in the fluid.) even though i heard that, i still wanted a change point of the high engagement point. when they examined the fluid during the install...major bubbles!

headers...i jus needed something to give the car a little more power. NEXT MREV2!

again...thanks STREETIMAGE & DRU for all your help!

no...the steel clutch line gives you more of a direct feel with the clutch. stock line is a little squishy because its rubber. its not really steel, but steel braided.

The Stainless Steel braided clutch line basically serves the same purpose as the braided brake lines do.

The stock rubber hoses get worn over time. Plus they're rubber, they're gonna expand.
Some people argue that it's a negligible amount, but i say expansion is expansion.

More than anything though, the bubbles in the clutch fluid is what's gonna kill the feel of the clutch pedal.
The bubbles create a very spongy and less responsive feel.

I told Leo the new braided clutch line and the new clutch fluid would be enough to make his clutch feel like new.
The JWT Clutch added on top of that changed the feel of the car entirely as it did with mine.

Congrats Leo.

Keep us posted.
